Comparison: Princess Line by Vera Wang

Hello Perfumista!!!

So for my third 'Comparison' post, I decided to do something from one of my favorites fragrance line, Princess by Vera Wang.

The first one is the original fragrance in the series, 'Princess'. It was launched in 2006 and the idea of this fragrance is to celebrate youth and femininity.

Princess, 2006

Let's talk about the bottle first. I love the bottle so much. The lilac/purple colored bottle looks like a heart-shaped jewel. It's so elegant and royal but cute at the same time. I think this perfume is delicious! I love the combination of gourmand with fruit and flowers. I smell chocolate, vanilla, guava, a bit of floral, and a base of warm amber.

Flower Princess, 2006

The second one was also launched in 2006 which is 'Flower Princess'. It was created in honor of the spring time and Japanese cultural movement Kawaii. The bottle is still the same but this time the color was pale pink nuances, with silver crown-like top adorned with pink crystals. This fragrance has more of a floral musk scent. There are some floral notes I can tell but it is not overpowering.

Rock Princess, 2009

Next one is the edgiest and tougher version, Rock Princess. Rock Princess was released in 2009. Bottle was made of dark glass, decorated with metal details and a crown in the same nuance as the bottle, which is black. This is quite an unusual scent. I smell the banana and coconut in it and I find the blend very interesting! I expected this one to be darker actually

Glam Princess, 2009

Glam Princess is the fourth princess in the line of fragrant creations of the house of Vera Wang. This line arrived in a shimmering gold bottle with pink stars and gold crown with gems. I think it's very chic and funky. As for the smells, the pear stands out upon the first spray! The dry down is still quite fruity

Preppy Princess, 2010

Finally, the latest one which is, Preppy Princess. It was released in 2010. The bottle is heart - shaped like all the previous editions, this time decorated with blue and pink plaid pattern and sophisticated pearls around the crown that is the stopper. I think this one is very fruity, sweet and memorable.I think its more for the younger generation. It does smell a little woody though.

Review: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

Viva La Juicy was officially launched in 2008. The perfume arrives in a typical Juicy Couture bottle with a charming ribbon of fuchsia colour. The ribbon is definitely my favorite part of the bottle. I think the bottle (100 ml) is too big and heavy. It's really hard for me to put the bottle in my bag due to its size.

As for the smells, I really like it. It's very sweet and creamy on me. The first time I sprayed this on, it reminds me of  popcorn, probably because of the caramel smell. I get compliments wearing Viva La Juicy more than any other scent in my collection. So good for me then....

Basic Information:-
